WORKING EXPERIENCE

• Hon,(Dr) Mohammed Abdi Kuti,EGH,MP is currently the Minister for Livestock Development; previously he was the first Minister who initiated Ministry of Youth Affairs Affairs and Sports from November 2005 to December 2007.
• He was the Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Health between February 2004 and October 2005.
• In 1992-1997 he was a medical Officer in Isiolo District Hospital.
• In 1990-1991 he was a medical intern at Meru District Hospital.
• He assisted as a volunteer at an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) in Garbatulla District between 1983 and 1985.


LEADERSHIP POSITIONS HELD

• He represents Isiolo North Constituency in the Parliament, since year 2002.

• He was the Director and Owner of Waso Medical Services & Nursing Home-Isiolo between 1997and 2002.


SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

• B.s.c Medicine and B.s.c Surgery, Nairobi University, Nairobi, kenya.
• In 1983 he was among the first team at National Youth Service (NYS) and emerged the best and got award stickman from the President.
• In 1981-1982 he did his A-Level education at Kangaroo Hogh School and passed with 3 Principals and one Subsidiary.
• In 1977-1980 he was at Isiolo Boys Secondary school and led his class for all the 12 terms and got division 1 of 16 points. He was the best in the Province.
